BRING THE SHORE TO YOUR DOOR

Our Story

'Seas the Catch' is a family business co-owned by Neil and his two cousins, Stewart and Iain MacLean. Between them they have many year's experience in the fishing industry. Their objective is to supply and promote sustainable, creel caught Hebridean shellfish to establishments and self catering accommodations in the Highlands and Islands. They will only supply the very best of live quality Hebridean shellfish direct from their fishing vessels. 

The waters around the Hebrides are known for their cleanliness and are amongst the purest there are in the world. All 'Seas the Catch' produce, will be delivered live and can be traced back to the boat which caught it.

The entrepreneurial crews' idea came from seeing the majority of their catches being transported to the continent and sadly little of it being enjoyed within Scotland itself. 

 

Their collective hope is that by making it available within their own country,  people will have the opportunity to try the produce and enjoy it for themselves.

Serving Suggestion

Ingredients

Prawns, Lobster or Langoustine​

Butter

Lemon wedges

Cheddar or mozzarella

Barbecue Prawns with cheese

How to 

Keep it simple. Split your shellfish of choice and brush with melted butter. Grill until slightly charred. Grate your favourite cheese over and let it melt on the barbecue for a minute or so. Squeeze some lemon over the top and finish off with fresh ground pepper. Mouth watering!
