Our Story
The home of the Cake Shed is only a few yards from the world famous Luskentyre beach, on the west side of the beautiful Isle of Harris.
It was created by mother and daughter team, Kathleen and Kate Macleod, in 2021.
Kate said "Throughout our lives, we have always been passionate about baking. In 2005, Kathleen started supplying local shops and businesses. In response to increased demand, we felt inspired to launch our business. Our creations are a mix of traditional home baking and trendy cupcakes!
Sustainability is key, using biodegradable and eco-friendly packaging for all our baking."
Home baking is available during the summer months Tuesday to Saturday and open from 10am.
In the winter months it is Fridays and Saturdays. We keep Facebook updated with any changes to our services.
Our Honesty Box is cash only.
