We would look forward to welcoming you to Harris Hotel, where we offer the best of Hebridean hospitality, superb food, professional service and a relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel is open every day to non-residents but please note that it is advisable to book ahead, especially for evening meals. Our menus offer an extensive choice of fresh local ingredients, including scallops, lamb and venison. Our food is traditional but with a modern and contemporary twist.
We serve bar lunches every day and when the weather permits, you can eat al fresco in our outdoor seating area. Lunch is available from 12 midday until 2.00pm and we also serve morning coffee and afternoon tea in the front lounges over-looking the garden.
Dinner is served every evening, both in the restaurant and in the front lounge from 5.00pm until 9.00pm.
Children are welcome to have half portions from the main menu or they can select from our kid’s menu. We also provide vegetarian and vegan options and are more than happy to cater for those with special dietary requirements but please advise in advance where possible. For those heading out to explore for the day we offer packed lunches so that you can enjoy a picnic on the beach or a feast in the hills!
In our bar, Tigh mo Sheanar, we offer freshly baked pizzas from 5pm to 9.00pm, Monday to Saturday for sit-in or takeaway. Stornoway black pudding and haggis is a popular favourite!
Our specially selected wine list offers wines from all around the world to suit everyone's palate, and our cosy residents bar is the place to be for malt whisky on Harris, with the largest selection of malts in the Outer Hebrides we stock almost 100 varieties! Ceud mìle failte!
