Our Story

Berry Bliss – Real Fruit Ice Cream provides real fruit ice cream as our main product using a base of either frozen yoghurt or ice cream, all with delicious and refreshing berry flavours. 

The idea behind Berry Bliss is to bring the delicious treat of Real Fruit Ice Cream to the Western Isles. Real Fruit Ice Cream originates from New Zealand, which is where I was brought up.

I came to the Isle of Harris in 2019 for a working gap year but quickly decided to stay and it was one of the best decision I’ve ever made.

I now live in Leverburgh with my partner, Kieran who is a local fisherman and our 2 young kids.

​Real Fruit Ice Cream is a big part of the Kiwi summer, and I am thrilled to be able to bring it to the Western Isles and share it with locals and tourists.

The ice cream then gets served in a waffle cone or tub – which ever the customer chooses.

​

A variety of coffees will be available such as americanos, flat whites, cappuccinos, lattes mochas as well as hot chocolate and a selection of teas. Soft drinks and craft soft drinks will also be available.

Home baking will also be available and in the near future I will introduce deli-style sandwiches.
