We are Nick and Anna (and Spud the Brewery Dog) and we run the Isle of Harris Brewery from our croft in Borrisdale in South Harris. Our interest in craft beer started over twenty years ago. When we moved to Harris with our family in 2014 our dream of starting a small batch Brewery from our home began to take shape.

I look after everything inside the bottle and Anna deals with labelling, marketing and sales. Spud is the youngest and most photogenic member of the Brewery team and quickly rose through the ranks to become MD!

Our core range includes ten craft beers including a classic Pale Ale, several IPA’s and a rich Chocolate Stout. We brew in very small batches using the finest quality ingredients including Scottish malted barley, interesting hops and yeasts from every corner of the world and Hebridean water.

One of the many benefits of small batch brewing is that we can experiment with different styles and local ingredients for limited edition and seasonal beers. Every batch is brewed in a tiny tin Brewshed overlooking the Sound of Harris and every bottle is labelled on our kitchen table.
